About
Us The Franjo Triangle
Club is where more than thirty 12-Step recovery meetings per week
are held. The Franjo Triangle Club is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt,
non-profit organization. The Franjo Triangle Club provides a large
meeting area, a coffee bar area, a small room for 12-Step
counseling, small meetings, and a quiet place for children to
read, draw, or watch healthy DVDs while their parents attend
meetings in the main room.
The Franjo Triangle Club offers a wide variety of 12-Step meetings
on a weekly basis, including:
- AA - Alcoholics Anonymous (over
15 meetings each week)
- NA - Narcotics Anonymous
- MA - Marijuana Anonymous (This
is the first in Florida)
- FAA - Food Addicts Anonymous
- CoDA - Co-Dependents Anonymous
(for healthy relationships)
- Al-Anon to help the family and
friends of alcoholics deal with the disease
- Alive Again a faith-based
12-Step group that meets 3 times a week
- SLAA - Sex and Love Addicts
Anonymous
Most of our operating expenses are
met by the groups themselves passing a basket at the end of each
individual group meeting and receiving self-supporting
contributions from those in attendance. The money is collected by
a trusted servant, accounted for with attendance on a written
form, and deposited. Some members contribute far more; most, even
with limited means, contribute $1.00 per meeting; and a few
(including the homeless) are unable to contribute anything at all.
Our coffee bar provides refreshments on a donation-basis only.
Literature is also provided. Meetings are dedicated to the primary
purpose of living sober, drug-free lives. Because alcoholism and
drug addiction are “family diseases,” the meetings reach countless
other family members that are affected by the alcoholics’ and
addicts’ disease.
Other than our dream of a room tender to keep the room open as a
daily safe haven, there is no paid staff; the members themselves
open and run the meetings.
